Up and downs of the job

So i recently got a job doing security at one of galway's bigger clubs. I have to say i love being back on the security scene and at least i'm making a few quid for the summer

One of the downsides that i'm now starting to panic about is the fact that it seriously hampers my ability to study, but i can also blame facebook, blogging, the internet, cleaning my room, the TV and just about anything else i can think of to AVOID studying

The perks however... I get to listen to great music, i can chat with drunk girls (though sometimes, it can be irritating) i get free into big gigs (Pendulum coming to Galway soon, i'll have some of that thanks!) and if i drank, i'd probably get cheap booze to....

lol after nearly 4 years on the job i still can't choose if its a blessing or a curse

  2. I was in the same position as you were. I worked setup crew for my city's concert arena. Hours were late nights and it was exhausting, but the stories I got from it were amazing. Ah...

  5. Befriending a bouncer to my favorite club was one of my smartest decisions in college. You're the gatekeeper to a good night.

  6. I think every job has perks and setbacks, unless you're the model oiler for playboy (free travel, and you get paid to rub down naked goddesses). But only 2-3 people in the entire world get that job.
